I feel my Military background has benefited my knowledge of the industry massively with this and a passion for hospitality. I am able to pass this on to other fellow chefs bringing out their true potential.

My career has taken me to numerous countries and environments, from the extreme heat of Afghanistan, the sub-zero temperatures of Iceland, and the physical demands of film shoot catering for Amazon. Having gained in-depth knowledge in many rosette & Michelin recommended venues across the UK, with also management experience in various educational catering settings across the South West. I now bring my talents to chef recruitment with my company, A Chef for All Seasons.

With over twenty-five years of experience and a variety of roles, I’ve truly lived and breathed the hospitality industry. After making the decision to step away from the coal face and enter management just over twelve years ago, I have learned both sides of the fence. I’m not only a dedicated and disciplined veteran chef, but I also know how important it is to have the skills to manage a great team. Creating excellent rapport and cohesion between all of the teams I have directed and recruited over the years.

Since late 2022 I’ve been a mentor for Springboard Future Chef South West, as I believe that we need to invest in the next generation for the future.
